Principal's Message

Dear Jefferson School Families,

         Welcome Back to the 2022-2023 school year!  

         Please know that the safety and security of all our students and staff is always our number one priority. To that end, I can assure you that whenever a potential issue arises the administration will always take every precaution possible and will follow all district policies as well as state mandated laws and guidelines to address the situation.  We also strive to keep you as informed as possible if such an event should occur. However, I ask that everyone respect the process and to allow adequate and thoughtful time and consideration for that information to be disseminated in a clear, professional way that still respects the privacy laws of all parties concerned. At the appropriate time such information will always be shared with you to the fullest extent that we can legally do so. Such statement, will serve as the official response. As much as we would like to speak to everyone on a one to one basis, this in fact slows down the efforts of dealing with the original issue. Thank you for your anticipated cooperation and understanding when dealing with these complex issues. Rest assured that your child’s safety is our first priority and we will always try to keep you as informed as possible.
